Kanji Grades 1 & 2 Flashcards
Kanji Grades 3 & 4 Flashcards
Kanji Grades 5 & 6 Flashcards
The Japanese Kanji characters are standardized into groups that are
taught to Japanese school children during the 1st through the 9th grade. The
groups are defined and maintained by the Japanese Ministry for Education -
although the list is designed for Japanese school children it is an
excellent place where non-native speakers can begin to learn the most
commonly used characters. The 1006 characters for grades 1 through 6
together are known as the Kyōiku Kanji. Mastering them is a great first step
in being comfortable reading and understanding Japanese.
The 1006 characters are divided into 3 computer flashcard programs that quiz you on manageable groups of the Kanji
character sets. Each program includes the kanji characters for 2 grades. The
individual characters themselves are almost always made up of sub-characters
called radicals. Learning the radicals makes learning the kanji characters
much easier so each program includes flashcards for its component radicals
as well.
You can download the flashcard
program NOW - see the "Buy Now" buttons below. You can also download
